The Warrior Heir is a book about a 16 teen-year old boy named Jack who finds out he's part of an ancient order. His Mysterious aunt Linda tells him that this order is ruled by"Wizards". They are brutal, apathetic, and can control peoples mind. They make the warriors that they capture into slaves. when ever the wizards feel like it they make warriors fight against each other to the death. Jack finds out that he is a"Warrior" which means he has the ability to kill anyone with anything.He learns that he is the last of his kind and that the wizards are looking for him. They will kill his family if they have to get his attention.Will he able able to fight of the wizards and protect his family from them, or will he die trying?Read this book to find out.

Hatchet by Gary Paulsen

Hatchet is a book about a thirteen year old boy that lives in New York city named Brian Robeson . His parents have recently gotten divorce and that weighs heavily on him. He also knows about his moms affair. since his parents got divorced his dad moved to Canada. He now visits him during the summer. The only problem is that Brian is a city boy and doesnt like the wilderness. But he will soon have to get used to it when the pilot has a heart attack. you will like this book if you like the outdoors or the wilderness. you will also like this book if you like survival. Another thing is that when you read the book you feel connected or there with the character inside the book. This book is great for teens to adults. Get the book and help Brian survive the Canadian wilderness.

A Wrinkle in Time

A Wrinkle in Time is a thrilling book by Madeline L'Engle. It is about mainly about two siblings. These are a 5-year old boy and a high school girl. They go on a long journey to find their father who has been missing since he went on a mission for the government over a year ago. The 5-year old boy, named Charles Wallace, and the high school girl, Meg, find an atheltic, older boy named Calvin along the way. They meet three old witches who seem to know where their father is, and they give the three kids useful advice. They find out that their father is trapped on a planet where everyone does their tasks in the same rhythm, and no one is ever happy nor sad. The people on the planet can't feel emotions. Anyone who isn't synchonized with the other people go to jail. Since the three kids are untrained, they break the rhythm and are sent to jail. Once they are there, they find Charles Wallace and Meg's father. But can they get back to their home planet alive? Reading A Wrinkle in Time will tell you the answer.

The book I read was called "Mocking Bird". It was a very interesting book. The "Mocking Bird" is about a girl named Catlin who has Aspergers disorder which is a form of autism. People with Aspurgers have a hard time socializing. Catlin's mom died when she was little and her bother Devon died recently in a school shooting. The story tells about her life and how she overcomes her brother's death through the support of her counselors. Catlin likes to read and is very smart. Overall this is a great book. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes to read about people affected with Aspergers disorder.

Deadline

This book is a drama about a senior who has one year to live and he wants to make the most of it. Deadline is a good book for people who are more in touch with your emotional side, if you are a more intellectual person then this book probably would not be good for you. I myself found the book very enjoyable cause I had asked myself before reading the book "What would I do if I knew I only had a day, a week, a month or a year to live?" It is in my opinion, that this made me so fascinated with this book. So if you have asked yourself this question before I would think it will increases your involvement with the book by a good amount and even if you haven't you may find yourself asking this question as you read the book. It also has some religious themes so if you are offended by this I would suggest against. So if you are a emotional and religious (or if you aren't and your indifferent) this ones for you. also take into account it is a drama so its really only good if you like that kinda stuff. If you do read on, but if not your probably going to end up putting the book down.

Baseball Great

Josh wants to be a baseball great something his dad also wanted but didn't get. Jaden, the school reporter, says he's going to take the baseball team to first place. But one day his dad pulls him off the field and signs him up with Coach Rocky Valentine's youth championship team, the Titans. He says Josh has what it takes to be a baseball great and the Titans will help him get there.
Now Josh is gulping down Rocky's "Super Stax" milkshakes to build muscle and trying to fit in with his new teammates. HIs new teammates ar older, tougher kids who are not very accepting of Josh. All Josh really wants to do is play ball. As Josh and his new friend Jaden investigate, they find themselves in a dangerous struggle with a desperate man.
He is coach Valentine who is selling the kids on the team steroids. Josh doesn't believe in using steroids so he decides to try to get his coach to stop.

Slam! by Walter Dean Myers

In Slam!, Walter Dean Myers truly paints a vivid picture in your mind with his artful descriptions of the characters. Good descriptions make any book better by making you believe you are standing next to a 6'7" basketball player or standing on the the top of a rooftop in Harlem, about to get in to a fight. This book appeals to everyone. If you like sports, it has it. If you like romance, it has it. It even speaks of crack dealing(I do not suggest this activity just making the point that if you do this this would be the book for). It also has lots of talk about a video project which connects to the electronics-ey type and the kind who like that form of creativity. This book really does have something for everyone, it even has lots of talk of school work! The most ridiculous thing i can think of is it even has grandmas in hospitals, now I don't personally know you but this might just be your favorite thing in the world, your a sick person if you do like grandmothers in hospitals, but this book has it! YOU should read this book.
